Snow means fireplaces, new windows, a warm garage!

OK, so I'm not going to lie. I am going to date this post Jan. 31st, but today is actually April 1, and I am not April-Fooling! I was going to just do one. L O N G. post. But all the photos are too overwhelming for me to organize. So I am going to put up several posts that are dated according to when the photos were downloaded. That way I can keep a chronological file of the building and progress of our dream home! Things just got way too busy with work, things going on, and tiredness. So I haven't posted anything since January 10. But I am about to catch up now -- not with the journal part but with the photos. Once I get to the end of March, I will do a little journaling!

This was our ONLY snow of the winter. By the time we got out there around noon, most of the snow had melted!
The road not taken......I love poetry! And I love that the road (our driveway) was all that was left with a blanket of snow. Until Terry tried to make his truck slide! Fortunately, by the time we headed back, the snow had turned to slush.
Fireplace in the sunroom
Terry had them put this new window in our basement kitchen! It really brightened up the place! Yay!
Basement fireplace - Notice how high the ceiling is in the basement!
