Progress got so slow at this point in the building project that I quit posting blog entries and focused on other things. The remainder of my blog entries will be merely the date that I downloaded the photos. 

 

Staining!

 Some finishing touches with staining. The pictures speak for themselves. We are a little discouraged right now because the main people working on our house are taking 3 weeks off to work on another house for our builder. It's an emergency situation for a family member....we gave him permission, but probably shouldn't have...

Sticks and Stones!

 Stonework is complete on our fireplaces now and couldn't be more beautiful! I am now confident that we chose just the right stones! Finishing touches to beams in the hallway, library, and first bedroom that serve as support for the loft are complete as far as I can tell and - again - just beautiful. I know I keep using the adjective "beautiful" in this blog, but that is the right word for everything about our future home!!

Breathtaking Beauty!

 Progress has been slow lately. There are only 2 men working here now, as far as we can tell. We still come almost every day. It's okay if there is no progress to view, because the view is absolutely breathtaking!!! I cannot wait to live here and look out the windows every single morning, sit on the deck, take walks, etc. I shall always be grateful!!
