Log Delivery Date 3 Days Away!

Our log delivery date is Wednesday, May 27, 2015!!!  Terry will be there "supervising" and taking pictures. I will be at work! By then the driveway should have the gravel for the construction trucks, etc. I don't know how they are going to do everything in the next 2 days. Below is a close-up view of our driveway. To the right you can see the gate Terry made in order to have a driving area between all the trees that separate our 2 pastures. No need for the gate now, LOL--trees to the left are GONE--they were all small trees and bushes! All the hundreds of times I jumped out the truck, unlocked the chain, opened the gate and propped it, then reverse on the way out...that's history now. It only kept the honest out anyway! Terry and Ben worked hard putting that gate in. Now they gotta pull it out, concrete and all...somehow...

I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but it does bother me to see all the beautiful grass turned to mud. I guess sometimes we must go a little backwards before we can move forwards :-)
